Green Heron
Called in the past the Little Green Heron, this quiet, shy bird stalks the shallow waters for a meal. It pulls its neck back so close to its body that it appears to have no neck - then in an explosion of feathers and water, it plunges forward - its neck extending to an impressive length - and captures a small fish.
