Lazarus

| Work in progress - first stage. I began to place paint onto a white canvas. As I painted, images begin to appear from the squiggles and swirls and paint. I began to see images in my mind and re-enforced them on the canvas. The result was Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. I began this painting thinking that I would be painting Jesus turning water into wine, but what happened was beyond my intention. The painting will be updated here as it emerges from the canvas. |
